PHOENIX (Jan. 6, 2022) — Invest Southwest today announces the Presenting Company finalists for the 2022 Venture Madness Conference, in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority. Invest Southwest celebrates its 30th year by bringing together accredited investors with the region’s most promising early-stage companies during Venture Madness, Arizona’s longest-running venture capital conference and pitch event. The event has helped raise more than $1 billion in capital funding since its inception.
This year’s event drew applications from 95 companies from which the top 16 were selected to compete head-to-head across four industry tracks: Consumer/Business, Medical, SaaS and Tech. The finalists will move on to the highly anticipated live conference held March 2-3, 2022, at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Downtown Phoenix. This 2022 event also features a host of generous returning and new partners who contribute time, resources and expert mentors to facilitate the conference and help finalists prepare their company for the live event.
The 2022 event features a new, dedicated Expo area where Presenting Company Finalists, along with a host of other emerging growth companies, will showcase their products and services to attending accredited investors from across the country. Attending investors at the 2021 event included Arizona Tech Investors, Canyon Angels, Cypress Growth Capital, Desert Angels, Fulcrum Equity Partners, Grayhawk Capital, Kickstart Fund, Lighter Capital, Sonoran Founders Fund, State 48 Ventures, Silicon Valley Bank, Stout Street Capital and Trinity Capital.

Venture Madness is open to early-stage and emerging growth companies from across the U.S. and offers its participants exclusive access to active, accredited angel investors and venture capital firms from around the country. All finalists receive expert mentorship from seasoned investors, business leaders and other successful entrepreneurs in preparation for the competition. Winners in each category will also receive a cash prize, to be disclosed.
