Phoenix, AZ October 18, 2022 – TapRoot is expanding its innovative digital assistant platform Ella® to North Carolina-based memory care community for seniors, Windsor House. Windsor House is deploying Ella to support their care partners in providing improved care for their residents, including those with Alzheimer’s and other types of Dementia who may display difficult to manage behaviors. Unlike static health record applications, Ella provides point-of-care intervention efficacy opportunities for the advance care partners, which results in enhanced engagement with the care partner and improved resident care utilizing best practices.
“TapRoot’s platform is truly novel. The data and insights we are going to be able to harvest from Ella are exciting,” states Windsor House’s Behavioral Health Consultant Michelle Kronquist, PsyD. “Ella gives our care team members on-demand background information regarding each resident and tools to reduce the occurrence and intensity of difficult to manage behaviors commonly expressed by individuals living with Dementia. With Ella, we can determine which care practices are effective, and which are not so we can quickly adjust our approach across all care shifts,” continues Dr. Kronquist.
